Day 19 of Building Crowdwide: Introducing WideWave!!

Well well well!!!

I've been working on user retention and engagement lately because building a platform is one thing, but getting users to come back is another!

First, I built a specialized email system that emails users after 24 hours, 3 days, and 7 days of inactivity, plus a newsletter every Sunday! These emails can also recommend posts based on users' interests.

But then I thought about something else.

Previously, posts mostly reached your followers, while community posts mostly reached people who had joined that community. This meant posts could struggle to reach a wider audience.

Soooo... I built something for that!

Introoooooooducingggg WideWave!!

Yesss, WideWave is a new part of Crowdwide designed to give posts wider visibility, helping them reach a larger audience and get more views! 🔥

The main idea is to help people discover posts beyond their existing followers and communities.

There's a little glitch right now where images aren't loading properly, but I'm gonna fix it, hopefully tomorrow!

Apart from that, most of the main things are built. I just need to fix that image bug and improve navigation a bit.

And that's it for now!!

Crowdwide V2 is releasing on November 1, and this is one of its major updates!
