Crowdwide / Terms of use · Last updated September 2026

A few promises in both directions.

These terms describe the expectations for using Crowdwide and the responsibilities we share as a community. By creating an account, you agree to these terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines.

01

Eligibility

You must be old enough to use online services in your country to create an account (Crowdwide is not directed at children under 13 - see the Privacy Policy). By creating an account, you confirm the information you provide is accurate and that you are not barred from using Crowdwide under applicable law.

02

Your account

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your password (and two-factor recovery codes, if enabled) secure. Tell us right away at developerpuneet2010@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access. One account per person; impersonation and automated (bot) account creation are not allowed.

03

Use with care

Do not use Crowdwide to harass, deceive, impersonate, exploit, or harm people. Do not upload content you do not have the right to share, upload malware, spam communities or direct messages, or attempt to circumvent moderation, rate limits, virus scanning, or other security controls. Do not scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the service outside of the published API and its rate limits.

04

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you post. You give Crowdwide a limited license to store, display, and process it only as needed to operate the service - for example, generating thumbnails, rendering link previews, or serving it through feeds, search, and notifications. You are responsible for having the rights to anything you upload.

05

Copyright

If you believe content on Crowdwide infringes your copyright, contact developerpuneet2010@gmail.com with a description of the work, the infringing content's location, and your contact details, and we will review and act on valid requests, including removing content and, for repeat infringement, removing accounts.

06

Communities and moderation

Community owners and moderators are responsible for keeping their communities within these terms and Crowdwide's Community Guidelines, including reviewing reported content and managing membership. Platform moderators and admins may review reported content, apply posting restrictions, or suspend accounts that clearly violate these terms.

07

Third-party features

Some features rely on outside services - for example GIF search (GIPHY) or push notifications (web push) - and are described in the Privacy Policy. These features are optional or depend on the deployment's configuration, and using them means your request also reaches that provider as described there.

08

API access

Where Crowdwide exposes a public or developer API (see Developer docs), you agree to respect its rate limits and use it only for legitimate purposes - not to scrape private data, impersonate the service, or degrade it for other members.

09

Termination

We may suspend or remove accounts or content that clearly violate these terms or the Community Guidelines, with an appeal option shown in Settings → Moderation where applicable. You may delete your own account at any time from Settings; doing so removes your profile, content, and media as described in the Privacy Policy.

010

Disclaimers

Crowdwide is evolving. Features may change, and we will make a reasonable effort to communicate material changes. The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.

011

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Crowdwide and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

012

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will update the date above and make a reasonable effort to communicate material changes. Continuing to use Crowdwide after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
