Crowdwide / Community Monetization Terms · Version 2026-10-07 · internal Waves shares only
Community monetization is conditional.
These rules govern applications to display sponsored campaigns in eligible public communities. All campaign budgets and community shares use internal Waves ledger credits; Crowdwide does not process real-money payments or payouts.
01Eligibility
A community must be public, meet the configured minimum age and published-post/engagement thresholds, have recent published activity, and have an owner with a verified account in good standing. Recent account warnings, active restrictions or suspension, and upheld reports for the community or its posts can make an application ineligible. Requirements are checked again by staff before launch or restoration.
02Review and appeals
A moderator screens an application and records a reasoned recommendation. An administrator makes the final approval or rejection decision. Owners can appeal a rejection or suspension; administrators may pause or revoke monetization at any time and must record a reason. Status, decisions, appeals, and review history appear in the owner/admin tools.
03Advertisements and integrity
Displayed campaigns remain subject to the Advertising Terms and prohibited-ad rules. Owners, moderators, and members must not generate fake impressions or clicks, use bots, or coordinate fraudulent activity. Events are accepted only after server-side campaign, funding, target, date, budget, and per-viewer daily-deduplication checks; owner and advertiser self-events earn no owner share. Owners must be verified and in good standing when a share is credited. Suspected activity may be held for investigation and campaigns or communities may be suspended.
04Waves ad shares
For a public community with ads enabled, the administrator-configured owner share (50% by default) is calculated from the Waves campaign budget charged for each unique, eligible impression or click. Each event’s share is rounded to the nearest micro-Wave, and the remaining charged budget is retained by Crowdwide. The share is credited directly to the community owner as Waves and appears in the owner dashboard and wallet ledger; administrators can inspect lifetime totals and retry pending credits.
05Waves only; no real-money payments
Community shares are Waves allocated from campaign budgets and credited to the owner’s platform wallet. Waves have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn, redeemed, or exchanged. Crowdwide does not receive real-money advertising revenue or support real-money transfers, payments, or payouts. Impression and click totals are platform measurements, and Waves credits do not imply billable impressions or a cash entitlement.
