Crowdwide / Advertising Terms · Version 2026-10-07-v3 · Waves-only platform advertising
These terms describe advertiser accounts and campaigns on Crowdwide. All platform advertising budgets and charges use Waves. Crowdwide does not process real-money payments, transfers, or payouts.
01Who may advertise
Advertisers must provide accurate business or organization details and a working contact method. Applying does not guarantee approval. Crowdwide may request additional information, reject an application, or suspend an advertiser account when needed to enforce these terms.
02Advertised products and rights
Advertisers may promote their own products and services as well as articles, content, or events. Advertisers must own or be authorized to advertise the item and must have rights to all submitted text, images, logos, and destinations. Campaigns must accurately describe the advertised item and link to a relevant destination. Any advertised price is provided by the advertiser; Crowdwide does not process payments for advertised goods or services.
03Prohibited advertisements
Campaigns may not promote pornography, sexually explicit or erotic content, adult-only (18+) services, gambling or betting, illegal goods or services, fraud, deceptive claims, or other material that violates Crowdwide’s Terms of Use or Community Guidelines.
04Review and availability
Campaigns are drafts until submitted and funded, then receive moderator review followed by a final administrator decision. A campaign must be approved before it can be activated. Approved, active, funded campaigns may be displayed in participating public communities. If no community is monetized, an explicitly designated fallback campaign may instead appear in the normal Crowdwide feed; it stops serving as soon as any community is approved for monetization. Approval is not a promise of placement, reach, or performance. Crowdwide counts at most one impression and one click per authenticated viewer, campaign, delivery context, and UTC day. These internal counts are not a third-party provider’s billable records.
05Waves and campaign budgets
Campaign budgets and all charges within Crowdwide use Waves, Crowdwide’s internal platform currency. Waves are not money, do not represent a claim on revenue, and cannot be redeemed or transferred outside Crowdwide. Submitted campaign budgets are held in escrow. Each accepted, deduplicated impression and click consumes the respective Waves rate shown at campaign creation; unused Waves are returned for rejected, cancelled, or completed campaigns according to the campaign ledger. Rates are locked for each campaign. Crowdwide does not receive real-money ad payments or process real-money transactions.
06Limits and integrity
Campaigns must follow their configured total and daily budgets. Advertisers must not manipulate engagement, traffic, impressions, clicks, accounts, or campaign measurement, nor ask others to do so. Crowdwide may pause or remove campaigns and hold activity for review if suspicious or policy-violating activity is detected.
07Community ad shares
Approved public communities may receive an admin-configured share of eligible campaign spend, paid only in Waves from the campaign budget. The owner share and Crowdwide remainder are recorded in the Waves ledger. This is an internal platform-currency allocation, not a money transfer, external advertising revenue, or cash payout.
08Transactions outside Crowdwide
Advertiser links may lead to external websites. Any purchase or payment made on an external website is between the user and that website; it is not processed, collected, or transferred by Crowdwide.
09Contact
