π Crowdwide Just Became a KODA Season 2 Champion π
Honestly, I didn't expect this at all.
Around 4β5 days earlier, I had hosted Crowdwide mainly for testing. I wasn't promoting it or thinking about entering any contest.
Then Harun (@harun9842245) found Crowdwide on DEV.to.
He became the first person to actually test it and reported some bugs. π Some were expected because public account creation wasn't ready yet, and I was still using Postman to test backend requests.
Then Harun suggested:
> "You should submit Crowdwide to KODA ONLINE FEST."
So... I did.
π And Then This Happened
I checked the results and opened the Hall of Champions.
And there it was:
π Crowdwide β S2 Champion
Crowdwide β Community & Social Platform
The description said:
> Build your community, grow it, manage it, and monetize itβwith an algorithm that doesnβt let only the biggest communities win. π
I genuinely just stared at the screen.
I WON. ππ₯
A project I had only recently put online for testing had somehow become the KODA ONLINE FEST Season 2 Champion.
π οΈ But Crowdwide Wasn't Finished
Crowdwide was still a massive work in progress. Authentication, backend systems, testing, moderation, communities, monetization, and more still needed work.
So I didn't see this as the finish line.
I saw it as motivation to finish what I started.
π Thank You, Harun
If Harun hadn't tested Crowdwide and suggested KODA, I probably wouldn't have entered.
Thank you, Harun. π
Seeing a project still under development sitting in a Hall of Champions was honestly crazy.
There was still a lot to build.
Now back to cooking. π¨βπ³π₯
